Description:

Shaded moss and sphagnum-covered crevasse in wet shaded area. Stems recumbent to trailing with ascending tips; leaves rich green both sides; bracts erect, orchid-purple; stamens 3; anthers golden; filaments pale lilac; style lavender; 3 stigmas spreading, purple; corolla deep orchid-purple on tube, and with 3 erect lobes; stamens adherent to tube with base of filaments at a protuberance on tube; sepals pale lilac, carinate, scarious; ovary superior, pale green, 3-celled with numerous axile ovules.
