Description:

Herb, 20 cm tall. Stem glabrous. Phyllaries of two types, the first filiform and angled away from the head and the second linear and erect along the head. Phyllaries green. In bud. Phenology of specimen: Bud.
Habitat:

On mossy log in swamp.
Feature Notes:

This species grows much larger in more open habitats.
