Description:

Herb. Growing under porch of cabin. This maybe be the first year growth of Ranunculus acris. See previous number (Atha 14755) for what is probably second year specimen. The species apparently behaving as a biennial.

Habitat:

Meadow around habitation in arrested state of succession by mowing and other management.
