Description:

Lvs simple, opposite, just coming out of buds, slightly past peak flower, the stigmas withered and young red fruits developing. Tepals and pedicels red, the tepals 10, with one ring of 5 narrower and another ring of 5 wider. Ovary superior, stigma bifid, style absent. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Deciduous forest near edge of road.
