Description:

Shrub 1.5 m tall, common in understory. Fruit green, immature. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Disturbed woods and edges with Acer saccharinum, Robinia pseudoacacia, Ulmus americana, Platanus occidentalis, Juglans nigra, the understory dominated by Lonicera maackii.
