To 2 m high. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Perennial spring on east-facing granitic and pumice slope. Heavily grazed area with nearby corral. Artemisia tridentata / Purshia tridentata scrub on slopes all around. Springside with Rosa woodsii, Mimulus gutattus, Salix, Aquilegia, Rorippa, Urtica, Cirsium.
