United States of America. New Jersey. Somerset Co. Ca. 1 mile southeast of center of Rocky Hill, hiking trail along the old Delaware-Raritan canal paralleling the Millstone River, 0.5-1 mile south of Highway 518 bridge. On gentle slope east of the canal.

Description:

Woody vine into trees. Fruit pale yellow-orange, opening during pressing and drying. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Floodplain forest and grassy and brushy areas. Native species such as Fraxinus pensylvanica, Rhus radicans, Mikania scandens, Pathenocissus inserta, along with many introduced species such as Elaeagnus umbellata, Celastrus orbiculatus, Lonicera maackii. "Seen here and there".
