Description:

Woody liana to 3 m in forest by river; calyx glands greenish-yellow; very fat; petals bright yellow, the fifth with marginal glands; stamens whitish; stigmas green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Region of mesophytic forest along stream and on hill above, changing to cerrado on higher, drier slopes.
