Description:

Tree 5 m, inflorescences pendent, calyx pale green, rest of flower sulfur-yellow, in fruit the receptacle turning red, fruits maturing blue-black. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Habitat:

Terra firme forest on undulating terrain, in succession from Guadua forest die-back 4-7 years ago.
