Description:

Tree, 10 m. tall. Trunk 27 cm. in diameter at breast height. Bark fissured into shallow rectangular pattern. Blaze: wood straw-coloured; inner bark pale pink, outer bark wine-red. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Growing in cerrado on a laterite capped ridge.
