Description:

epiphytic herb. Ant-garden herb, leaves black at base, above base lilac (especially younger leaves), then dark green beyond base. Scape covered with pale green bracts, near and on inflorescence becoming green tinged with rose and with rose margin; flowers white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Upland forest on hilly terrain, canopy open, many large trees.
