Brazil. Acre. Sena Madureira Mun. Basin of Rio Iaco, former Seringal (now PAE) Riozinho, Colocação Passagem, 107 km from Rio Branco on BR-364, then approx. 15-20 km from BR-364, in forest flanking access road called Ramal da Fátima. Alt. 160 m. (525 ft.)

Description:

epiphytic herb. Fallen epiphyte, scape 80 cm long, covered by bracts, which are dry except distal ones white with rose margin, leaf pale green distally, white at base, then second quarter of length rose. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Edge of forest near unpaved access road, hilly terrain.
