Description:

terrestrial herb. Coarse herb 2 m, inflorescences 1.3 m from ground, erect, basal bract terminating in a leaf, bracts red with yellow margin, fruits blue. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Forest on terra firme, selectively logged for several years. Undulating terrain. Rare.
