Location:

Brazil. Pará. Approx. 20 km from Tucurui; 12 km S on old BR 422, 8 km SSW on new BR 422, then 1 km W on logging road.

Description:

Tree 30 m. Androecial hood yellow, remainder of flower cream. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Forest with Parkia and Tachigalia emergent.

Other:

Collection Notes: Possible new species (S. A. Mori, 3 Oct 2008). Leaves larger, secondary veins impressed adaxially, and the flower is not tinged with pink or purple.
Specimen Notes: Wood sample, leaf sample. Also speciment at US.
