Note: This collection is undoubtedly to be placed in Chodat's Glochidiatae but cannot be referred to any species presently placed here. It seems to more-or-less agree (ex char.) with P. exigua Benn. which horever Chodat placed in Serie Tenues with non-glochidiatae seed pubescence. No authentic material of P. exigia was avaliable at New York, Washigton, or São Paul. Dawson 14884 is identical with 14649 qualitatively but has much larger flowers. L.A. Co. Mus. Contr. Sci. 28:11. 1959.
