Brazil. Bahia. Poções Mun. Fazenda Boa Esperança (owner Lucau Vitoria), 7.5 km S of Morrinhos (which is 6.1 km E of Poções on road to Ilhéus) on forested slope. Alt. 940 m. (3084 ft.)

Description:

Liana at edge of forest. Calyx greenish-yellow strongly tinged orange. Corollas emerging pale orange, becoming pale purple when open. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Southern Bahian Moist Forest.
