Tree. Tree 5 m x 20 cm dbh. In fruit. Axis of inflorescence yellow. Drupes black when mature, with white flesh, red or orange when less mature. Sap white, very persistant and sticky uponn drying. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

In primary rainforest, in vicinity of disturbed primary forest, seasonally wet. Dry igarapé ran through the area collected.
