Description:

Herb ca. 3 m tall. Petioles ca. 1.2-1.5 m long, blade 1.2-1.5 m long. Inflorescences pendulous 80-130 cm long. External bracts dark red, apically yellow.

Habitat:

Disturbed forest with frequent logging; canopy 35-45 m tall.
