terrestrial herb. Terrestrial herb 2m, inflorescences terminal, flowers pink. In low-lying area. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Unlogged forest on terra firme near recently opened unpaved access road. Some patches dominated by Guadua sarcocarpa; Tetragastris and Brosimum common. Clay soils.
