Description:

terrestrial herb. Herb to 20 cm, inflorescence pendent, flowers white tinged with violet, fruits deep blue-purple within, seeds with fleshy orange coating. Rare, on steep slopes. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Habitat:

Primary upland forest on undulating terrain, Tertiary sediments.
