Description:

Robust woody climber to 3 m. with twining stems. Leaflets dark green above, grey-green beneath. Calyx pinkish-purple. Standard mauve with dull yellow blaze at base of limb with small dark vertical dashes. Wings mauve, keel paler, pinkish-mauve. Pods green with rusty tomentum. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
Habitat:

Disturbed caatinga and roadsides by small stream.
