Description:

shrub. Unbranched shrub 1.4 m, inflorescence axes and calyx dull yellow, immature fruits dark green. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Open forest with palms and weak presence of Guadua sarcocarpa, canopy ca. 25 m. Deeply dissected terrain. Many Marantaceae, few lianas. Rare. Sandy clay soil.
