Description:

Shrub, slender, 2 m. tall. Flowers nodding; pedicel and calyx greenish white; corolla white. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Tall tropical evergreen forest, with the large trees recently removed. Slightly hilly, with outcrops of schist. Lecythidaceae, Orbignya phalerata.
