Description:

stipitate palm. Stipe 30cm, leaves 3m, inflorescences infrafoliar, fruits immature. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Primary forest on undulating terrain, in places dissected by many small stream. Soil sandy in many places. No Guadua, but strong presence of Bertholletia and Tetragastris altissima s.l.
