Description:

Slender, unbranched, 1 m tall. Fruit bright yellow-orange, the seeds surrounded by orange pulp.

Habitat:

Steep slopes. Subtropical semideciduous forest, With Anadenanthera macrocarpa, Schoepfia tetramera, Recordia boliviana, Chrysophyllum gonocarpum.
