Description:

shrub. Unbranched shrub 1.5 m, fruits turning orange, globose, to 5 cm diam. Terra firme. FRUITS SEPARATE. Phenology of specimen: Fruit, Fruit.

Habitat:

Open forest on undulating terrain, non-dominant presence of taboca (Guadua); terra firme except for "baixios" (waterlogged low-lying areas). Occasional. Sandy clay soils.
