Description:

Tree 17 m x 15 cm, inflorescence axis and buds cream. Outer bark brown, shallowly fissured, sparsely lenticellate, thin, inner bark deep red, fibrous. On mild slope. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
Habitat:

Primary terra firme forest relatively level terrain shallowly dissected by many streams, soils apparently poorly drained.
