Terrestrial herb. Terrestrial herb, stamens yellow, rest of inflorescence pale green. In low-lying area. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Open forest with bamboo; terrain gently undulating occasionally dissected by streams. Guadua sarcocarpa beginning to dominate again 18 years after die-back. Sandy clay soil.
