Description:

terrestrial herb. Terrestrial herb, inflorescence bracts pale green tinged with red, stamens yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Open forest with palms and weak presence of Guadua sarcocarpa, canopy ca. 25 m. Deeply dissected terrain. Many Marantaceae, few lianas. Sandy clay soil.
