Description:

Plant with a basal rosette of leaves, terrestrial. Leaves 4-5 m long, with red tip, and margins with retrorse spines. Fruits dark brown, brown-puberulent.

Habitat:

Secondary forest with sparse individual remnants of primary forest 35-40 m tall.
