Description:

Arbor humulis. Arbor humilis, ligno duro, rubro, ramis ramibusque (?) omnibus secundis, hirce solo apice foliosis. Flores polygami. Cal. bivalv. diphyll. persistes, in alabastro valvatus. Pet. 4, viridia quorum 2 latiora. Stam. 20-24 libera. Filam. lata. Antherae glab. didym. Ovar. super. 3-4 loculi. Loculis 1 oval. Styli 3-4, persistens. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Sylvae primaevae.

Feature Notes:

Looks like the Description is probably taken form the protologue. Herbarium labels of 1830's did not have such stuff on them.
