Description:

Tree 47 m x 113 cm; steep, branched, plank buttresses (300 cm high x 150 cm wide x 15 cm thick); trunk cylindrical; outer bark smooth, scaly with incomplete hoops, hard, dark brown, 2 mm; inner bark creamy-orange, soft, laminated, 10 mm; exudate reddish, sticky. Mostly glabrous with a few dendritic hairs.

Habitat:

Tropical moist forest.
