Description:

Unbranched slender pole 2 m. tall, rare in forest. Fruit green. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Forest on flat, non-inundated upland. Short "campinarana" forest, with thick litter+root layer over sandy soil; forest shorter and trees smaller than in the surrounding tropical evergreen forest on clay soils.
