Description:

Tree. Tree 38m x 50cm, outer bark brown, with large transverse lenticels, thin, inner bark beige, brittle, latex white. Fruits yellow, oblong-ellipsoid, 2cm long. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Open forest with palms on high terraces only occasionally dissected by streams. No presence of taboca (Guadua palm).
