Description:

Shrub; stem 12 ft high, 3 in. thick; inflorescence terminal, pendulous, a foot long, all the stalks and fruits deep red, corolla and style creamy white, the cleft stigma greenish. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
Habitat:

Wet alluvial soil. Dense forest.
