Description:

Shrub 2.5 m. tall. Flowers hanging, seem odorless (7:30 A.M., sunny morning); pedicel and calyx white; corolla and style white; anthers yellow. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Secondary vegetation and pastures, formerly upland tropical evergreen forest (mata de terra firme sobre latosolo amarelo).
