Description:

Shrub 1.5 m. tall; crushed foliage odorless. Flowers with faint spicy fragrance, nodding; corolla, calyx and pedicel white; anthers light yellow. Fruit and fruiting pedicels light green, the base of calyx strongly swollen, then constricted below lobes. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Habitat:

Medium tall tropical evergreen forest, flat. Edges and around clearing. Somewhat sandy soil.
