Description:

a 15 m high tree, with branches above the middle; main branches erect but the numerous branchlets forming a round crown; wood quite soft; bark brown or on some of the branches yellowish gray; leaves sub-membranous, shining green above, much paler beneath, flat, tips only slightly curved; figs yellowish or pale green, with scattering brown colored by lenticels, short obovoid, erect and slightly pubescent when young, upon 1 to 2 meter long branched and rather smooth tubercles from the basal portion of the stem.

along watercourses of narrow very damp ravines.
