Description:

Hemiepiphyte with large root to the ground wrapped and fused on itself, diam > 50 cm. May have originally descended on small tree now gone. Branches reach to 30 m up. Outer bark pale grey, heavy lenticels in horizontal rows. Inner bark pink with copious white latex. Figs greenish with pink dots and splotches, ripening pink.
Habitat:

Freshwater swamp forest - selectively logged along park border. Still supported by large Shorea though has free standing potential.
