Description:

Tree 25 m x 27.4 cm diam, trunk cylindrical, outer bark dark brown, densely raised-lenticellate, inner bark red, resin translucent cream, drying white, fruits immature, pale green.

Primary upland forest on level terrain, open canopy, many lianas and understory palms. Occasional.
