Note: Mixed collection: this specimen most probably represents a mixture of two different species. The flowers probably belong to Pachira sp. while the leaves do not match the morphology of Pachira leaves because are membranaceus, have a non-dilated petiole apex, non-dilated petiolules, and a very distinct venation pattern, including arched veins (i.e, eucamptodromous vs. brochidodromous). Also, the label refers to a spiny bark which probably belongs to Pochota fendleri or Ceiba sp. " det. J. Carvalho Sobrinho, 2024
