Description:

Large climber to 10 m totally obsuring tree trunk; stem 3.5 cm thick; spathe naviculate, cream, 28 x 26 cm (flatened out), wide open, 7.5 cm longer than spadix, tissue 5 mm thick, soon breaking near base and falling; spadix cream at anthesis, 18.5 x 3 cm, stigmas dark, stamens yellowish, each flower 7.5 cm tall.
