terrestrial herb. Herb 1.5-2 m, leaf arrangement zingiberoid, lower leaf midrib maroon, bracts bright red, rachis dark red-brown, sepals yellow, dark distal band and thin dark lines, ovary dark green above, light green below, pedicel light green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
