Location:

Brazil. São Paulo. Bragança Paulista Mun. 14.6 km west along road from RR viaduct at Bragança Paulista. Ca. 300 m south of highway.

Description:

Shrub 1 m tall. Petals golden-yellow, anthers light pale tan-yellow with 2 white lines along the 2 inner ridges. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

In thick cerrado: small trees to 3 m tall spaced 3-5 m apart (mostly barbatimao), plus shrubs to 1 1/2-2 m tall. Reddish brown fien sandy clay.
