Description:

Terrestrial herb, leaves to 2 m, inflorescences arising from leaf axils, peduncle to 1 m, inflorescence bracts drooping, dull brownish-green, corolla white tinged with yellow.

Habitat:

Terra firme forest on undulating terrain, in succession from Guadua forest die-back 4-7 years ago.
