Tree. Tree 18m, calyx pale brown, corolla and staminal column white, anthers yellow. Photo. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Open forest with palms on high terraces only occasionally dissected by streams. No presence of taboca (Guadua palm). Rare.
