Description:

Erect shrub 0.6-1.5 m tall [see specimen label for additional information]. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Cut-over & burned campo cerrado, ground ploughed for planting of Pinus. Ground vegetation returning, grasses, herbs, & small shrubs. Campo cerrado on upland [see specimen label for addtional information]. Soil poor, reddish brown fine sand with a little clay.
