Description:

terrestrial herb. Herb 1.2-2.5 m, leaf arrangement musoid, leaves variegated above (between 2o veins), below with gray waxy coating, inflorescence erect distichous, bract 4-8, orange-red, compatly arranged, rachis orange, sepals orange with white tip and dark green dot at end, ovary orange elow, dull olive green above, pedicel white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Shaded understory of terra firme forest. Occasional.
