Description:

terrestrial herb. Herb 2.5-3.5 m, leaf arrangement musoid, leaf blade brighter green below, inflorescence pendent/spiral, bracts 12-42, red with yellow-green tip and lip, rachis red, sepals with yellow tip, changing to base at base, ovary white, pedicel white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Barranco (levee). Frequent on barrancos (levees).
