Description:

Tree 30 m x 36 cm, flying buttresses, outer bark dark brown, thick, fissured, inner bark rose. Fruits orange-yellow, obovoid, to 4 cm long. Pulp thin, edible, sweet. Rare. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Primary upland forest on undulating terrain,Tertiary sediments.
